Valence band offset of InN/BaTiO3 heterojunction measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to measure the valence band offset of the InN/BaTiO3 heterojunction. It is found that a type-I band alignment forms at the interface. The valence band offset (VBO) and conduction band offset (CBO) are determined to be 2.25 ± 0.09 and 0.15 ± 0.09 eV, respectively. The experimental VBO data is well consistent with the value that comes from transitivi...
متن کاملOutcome of acute vertebrobasilar occlusions treated with intra-arterial fibrinolysis in 180 patients.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE To evaluate predictors of recanalization and a favorable neurologic outcome in patients with acute vertebrobasilar occlusion (VBO) treated with local intra-arterial fibrinolysis (LIF). METHODS The multicentric data of 180 patients with acute VBO treated with LIF were retrospectively evaluated. The modified Rankin scale (mRS) was used to evaluate the neurologic status be...
متن کاملMeasurement of w-InN/h-BN Heterojunction Band Offsets by X-Ray Photoemission Spectroscopy
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to measure the valence band offset (VBO) of the w-InN/h-BN heterojunction. We find that it is a type-II heterojunction with the VBO being -0.30 ± 0.09 eV and the corresponding conduction band offset (CBO) being 4.99 ± 0.09 eV. The accurate determination of VBO and CBO is important for designing the w-InN/h-BN-based electronic devices.
متن کاملEvaluating Ontology Alignment Systems in Query Answering Tasks
Ontology matching receives increasing attention and gained importance in more recent applications such as ontology-based data access (OBDA). However, query answering over aligned ontologies has not been addressed by any evaluation initiative so far. A novel Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) track, Ontology Alignment for Query Answering (OA4QA), introduced in the 2014 evaluation ca...
متن کاملA Unified Anatomy Ontology of the Vertebrate Skeletal System
The skeleton is of fundamental importance in research in comparative vertebrate morphology, paleontology, biomechanics, developmental biology, and systematics. Motivated by research questions that require computational access to and comparative reasoning across the diverse skeletal phenotypes of vertebrates, we developed a module of anatomical concepts for the skeletal system, the Vertebrate Sk...
